New milestone: 4GW of wind capacity now using ETSI’s forecasting services

We’re proud to announce another milestone for our company: the ETSI forecasting service is now being used by 4 gigawatts (GW) of wind generation capacity across Australia’s National Electricity Market (NEM). This represents roughly 30% of the NEM’s total wind generation capacity.

Achieving this level of coverage in just 3.5 years of operations is a testament to the trust placed in ETSI by asset owners and operators, and to the strength of our forecasting systems.

As the energy transition accelerates, accurate and secure forecasting is more important than ever. This milestone reflects not only ETSI’s rapid growth but also our commitment to delivering solutions that enable more efficient dispatch, lower system costs, and improved reliability as renewable penetration rises.
