Energy forecasting solutions

Tools for Variable Renewable Energy generators
Our tools enable our clients to improve the operational performance of their VRE assets. We focus on identifying areas to increase revenue and drive down their market costs. For example, our software provides the ability to investigate AEMO 4-second Causer Pays data efficiently and effectively, enabling asset owners to drill-down on the plant operational behaviour leading to high Causer Pays costs.
Our software identifies foregone generation and quantifies the cost due to inaccurate forecasts - from AEMO or from a self-forecast provider.
Specialist power system consulting
The ETSI team have extensive knowledge and expertise in energy forecasting, power system operation and market design. ETSI staff, across their industry experience, developed the first automated load forecasting system used by AEMO in 2011, and for over a decade were responsible for the Australian Wind Energy Forecasting System (AWEFS) and the Australian Solar Energy Forecasting System (ASEFS).
